Freed from having to warn of danger, our landlocked lighthouse softly illuminates everyone and thing in its arcing path. A downward-facing beam of light silently sweeps across the paths and lawns of an urban park. Whether newly created, or an existing lighthouse relocated inland, it becomes the spotlight that shines for us.
