Terranauts

Terranauts is a short film about a young couple who find a large cardboard box that was originally shipped to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. With text printed on the box, we know that it purportedly once held parts for the Kepler mission, which is a satellite intended to search for habitable planets. The parts were removed through a rectangular opening at one end that the young couple use as a view window. By pushing, dragging and rolling it, they use the discarded box as a means of exploring their own earthly habitat of Los Angeles.
