In 2009 I was asked to be on a panel about sculpture curriculum at the College Art Association conference in Los Angeles. For it, I wrote a paper as an ode to the song, "Fuck Shit Up" by the band Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, as well as a hypothetical sculpture-making assignment, a list of fundamentals for making non-utilitarian creative objects, and a manifesto.
