2008

In 2008 I was offered a solo exhibition at Samson Projects, an art gallery in Boston. Though the nature of my art practice is project-driven, often resulting in short films or commissioned outdoor sculptures, I decided to use the opportunity to show documentation from three recent projects: "Winning Men," "The Faction," and "The Fence Thief." The three projects share a similar, if vague theme: an unwavering purposefulness is driving and guiding each character toward a larger, unknown aim. Each of the projects were shown either in video, photographs, or sculptural props. Additionally, a related object from a subsequent project, "Lighthouse, Beheaded," was also on display.
