Lighthouses are often relocated away from eroding cliffs to keep them from toppling into the ocean. Should one fall, it would likely break in half. Lighthouse Beheaded plays out the possibility of truncated beacon. Now toppled, its top remains illuminated. Like a person retaining sentience after being guillotined, its light continues to rotate and glow.
